The Sikh Gurdwara of Los Banos is a newly established spiritual sanctuary dedicated to serving the Sikh community and welcoming individuals from all backgrounds. Our mission is to provide a local space for worship, cultural connection, and community service, embodying the Sikh principles of equality, humility, and selfless service.
Our Story
Recognizing the need for a local Gurdwara, as the nearest one is 40 miles away, we embarked on a journey to establish a Gurdwara in Los Banos. With the support of the community, we have acquired a property at 707 E Street, Los Banos, CA 93635, which will serve as our Gurdwara.
Our Mission
We are committed to:
• Spiritual Growth: Providing a sacred space for daily prayers, Kirtan (devotional singing), and spiritual learning.
• Community Service: Offering Langar (free community kitchen) to all, regardless of background, and engaging in charitable activities to uplift those in need.
• Cultural Preservation: Educating and preserving Sikh traditions, values, and history for future generations.
